This collection features the instrumental Dobro and Slide Guitar side of well known Canadian roots music artist, Doug Cox. It features tracks from his out-of-print solo Cds and his genre-bending collaborations.

An all-star cast of players includes Todd Butler, Slavek Hanzlik, Daniel Lapp, Tony Trischka, April Verch, Tony McManus, Sam Hurrie, Ken Hamm, John Reischman, Salil Bhatt (Slide To Freedom), Clive Gregson and others. Cox's popular instrumental (slide) versions of Sting's Wrapped Around Your Finger, Joni Mitchell's The Circle Game, Joe Zawinul's Birdland, Duke Ellington's Caravan and George Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps are all featured.

Doug is an International touring Artist who plays over 200 dates per year with upcoming tours booked in Canada, The United States and throughout Europe. His tour dates include solo performances, tours with US performer Corinne West, guitar icon Amos Garrett and his collaboration with India's Salil Bhatt and VM Bhatt, Slide To Freedom.
