If gospel is your thing, you won't want to miss this West Coast trio.
Hold On is the debut album of Will Sanders, Ron Small and Marcus Mosely, members of Vancouver's acclaimed Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir which premiered on Jim Byrnes' 2007 Juno-winning House of Refuge.
Hold On blends the old school gospel recordings of the 1930s and '40s with the more contemporary sound of Curtis Mayfield's legendary trio, The Impressions.
The Sojourners recorded the album over three days with Steve Dawson on guitar, Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple, Bill Frisell) on bass and Geoff Hicks (Colin James) on bass. In the process, they created gospel magic.
